According to Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, today, Houston’s economy is still based on
energy, but to a lesser extent than in the boom days. The city is an industrial, commercial, educational and
financial center. Its diverse economy comprises space and science research firms, universities, leading medical
facilities, technology companies, telecommunications, shipyards, grain elevators and a wide range of other
businesses. The emphasis on international trade is expanding every year, and will be a prominent theme in
the city’s continued economic development.

In addition, the Greater Houston Partnership construction employment has jumped nearly eight percent this
year, in large part from the continued strength of the new housing market. Based on this year's level of
housing starts - perhaps 50.000 single - and 18.00 multi-family units.

According to www.chron.com, commercial real estate firm Means Knaus Partners is planning a $75 million
office project in the Westchase district, rounding out development in the Oak Park master-planned business
complex. The new project will include two buildings, each slated to be six stories, adding 300,000 square feet of
speculative space to the 220-acre park that's almost fully occupied. The buildings are to be called One and Two
Oak Park, and the developer is aiming for a silver rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design — or LEED — program. Groundbreaking is expected to start in January
2008 on the first building of the two-phase project, which is being developed in a partnership with the Carlyle
Group, a private-equity firm. The buildings are designed to be 150,000 square feet each, but the second could
be larger depending on demand.

Families and business owners need access to internet connectivty without geographical boundaries. With new
developments, often times broadband services are restricted based on how far you are located from a
terminal. Next Day Satellite will provide immediate service to the internet without restictions.

Satellite internet technology has provided internet access to millions from fixed-position (geostationary)
located approximately 22,300 miles above the earth by transmitting digital signals to subscriber antennas and
receivers. Two-way satellite internet connections allows for both downstream and upstream transmissions.
Two-way transmissions are the most commonly used types of satellite internet connectivity. Basically, the
satellite receiver that is connected to your computer forwards digital signals to the out-door satellite antenna
which then transmits signals to the satellite or transponder. The satellite then receives and decodes
transmissions and forwards them to their NOC or network operations center on earth where the data request is
transmitted again to the internet by land-based infrastructures.

Data transmissions from the satellite internet are then routed using the same process in reverse with their final
destination being your computer. It must be noted that there may be a half-second time delay and this may or
may not present a concern. Two-way satellite internet connectivity enables 24-hour access making it quite
reliable. An always on connection makes connectivity more convenient and dependable than other
connections. If your location makes it impossible to use DSL or cable, satellite internet service may just be the
option to provide you the computer freedom you require

HughesNet ™ is the high-speed Internet solution that’s available to everyone in the contiguous US with a clear
